A summary of the status of planning applications and decisions - taken from the SDNPA
The houses at the northern end of the village are grouped close the Green and The Country Inn (currently closed). One and half miles to the south the second group of houses includes the Park House Hotel and the medieval Church of St Mary. With easy access to the South Downs Way which passes along the ridge of Bepton Down, Bepton is popular with walkers and cyclists. Bepton Down also features SSSI access land famed for its wild orchids and butterflies. Proximity to Midhurst and Cowdray Park also make it a popular destination for Polo enthusiasts in the summer months.
